Steiner Toys

This site will be our special place to share the hand crafted, Steiner inspired toys we create with like minded families. 

We have watched our beautiful daughter flourish amongst her Steiner Toys – nourished by the natural materials and the freedom to let her imagination guide her play. This is in contrast to the mass produced, mass marketed plastic toys that tend to restrict the precious gift of our imagination that we all came here with.

We will be offering limited amounts of Steiner Toys as they are made. This is not a site for selling large quantities of mass produced toys. The toys we create are made for the enjoyment, the art of making them and the joy we feel when watching them used creatively – the way that comes so naturally to children when provided with an environment where they can just be children.

We intend to offer a select range of wooden toys, starting with Australian animal figures that we have not seen available elsewhere. We will also have Steiner dolls and felted crafts to delight your children and nourish their souls.

We also intend to offer free tutorials on making your own Steiner inspired toys and sharing some of the creative ways we celebrate festivals in our home.
